Store Manager - 

New Salomon Store in Copenhagen

Are you passionate about sports and fashion? Do you have proven experience in management in the retail sector? Then come join Salomon - we are assisting Salomon in recruiting a Store Manager for their new Salomon store to be opened end March in Kristen Bernikows Gade, Copenhagen.

Purpose of the role:

As a Store Manager, you will be responsible for building and leading a high performing store team, to ensure that the team achieve set goals and financial targets whilst delivering operational excellence and execute brand standards effectively. You will secure the highest level of customer experience and deliver the vision of the brand.

Responsibilities:

• Leadership

Motivate and inspire the team and manage all aspects of the store scorecard: people, operations, finance and customers to deliver consistently high performing results

• Customer Service

Be a role model in interacting with team and customers ensuring understanding of the customers needs and profile whilst delivering consistently high-quality service

• Operations

Effectively manage the store inventory levels ensuring the market and customer needs are met and deliver operational best practice through partnership with the District Manager

• Sales and Finance

Manage the resources to achieve the budgeted level of operating expenses and the in-store customer service experience. You are will be responsible for delivering the P&L and retail KPI targets.

• Management

You will manage the in-store team recruitment, effective onbording, ongoing training and support career development opportunities of the store team

Qualifications:

• You have at least 3 years of relevant experience in a retail leadership position

• You are a true People-First Manager and have a passion for sports and fashion combined with a strong professional mindset

• You love interacting with customers and creating exceptional experiences

• You are motivated, eager to learn, open to change and continuous improvement

• Experienced in managing a P&L and good understanding of key retail performance indicators

• You are motivated to take the lead and responsibility for making Salomon's new store a success and willing to work a shift schedule, including evenings and weekends
